Cuban party

Black History Month 2005 was a really busy month for us- see main page of events by clicking the link on the right. At the end of the month we held a Cuban party. We had a live Cuban band, professional firework display, games, Caribbean food and drinks, community information stalls and a whole lot more! During the day, which was the last day of the first half of the Autumn Term, the children cooked the food, made Caribbean flags to decorate the hall, painted a backdrop for the band and made carnival masks. Plus we had two days of Cuban dance lessons to make sure we were ready for the big night!
