Governors
Governors are very involved in the life of the school and have a very detailed understanding of its strengths and weaknesses.
The governors now have a very clear understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of the school. The governing body is well organised and works effectively in committees. It monitors the performance of the school extremely closely and holds the school’s management team to account. For example, governors make regular monitoring visits to the school to monitor provision in various subjects. They very effectively challenge the senior management team and are striving to ensure that all pupils are receiving the best support possible. Ofsted 2005
